 Since the organization has not started yet, there are no alumni of the program yet. However, a critical component of the Atlas Corps is that the experience is not a simple one year Fellowship where people learn and teach and leave the program forever. After completing their Fellowship in the U.S., Atlas Corps Fellows are required to do at least one more year of service in their home country. As they continue their careers, they may want to reconnect with citizen leaders they met during their fellowship, so Atlas Corps will help facilitate that through an interactive online community as well as regional events.
But beyond keeping in touch with old friends, Atlas Corps will seek to integrate the global citizen sector by providing a forum for these Fellows to connect with everyone who has ever participated in the program including alumni from other global south countries, U.S. partner organizations, even the corporations and founders of the program who choose to be a part of the global community. Future partnerships will be facilitated by the Atlas Corps by connecting Fellows who may have never met each other, but shared a common experience of volunteering in the U.S. for a year.
