Two weeks ago, I had an amazing opportunity to join up with 29 of Asia’s top young leaders in government, business, arts, media, and the nonprofit sector at the Asia 21 Summit in Melbourne, Australia.
This year’s theme was World Disrupted: Asia’s Future and we had the pleasure of learning from lectures and site visits focusing on geopolitics in the region to social innovation.
One of the most valuable sessions for me was “Give and Take”. It allowed us to pitch our own projects to our fellow Asia 21 community, and receive help, as well as give help. After speaking about OneChild, a number of young leaders volunteered to help from joining an advisory board to providing probono legal assistance. I can’t wait to collaborate and see what we can do together to provide dignity for children in Asia!
