Today we will talk about Uber, which is a “location-based app that makes hiring an on-demand private driver easy.
Of course, the best way to travel within your host city is public transportation since it’s cheaper, but what if you’ve missed the last bus or train, what if no train goes to your destination or what if you wanna go somewhere faster and you’ll have to wait 30 min for the next bus or train to come, the solution is Uber.
How to install Uber:

How to set up Uber:
After installing Uber, you’ll have to follow these steps:
1- Touch sign in and add the required information. (Name, phone, email…etc)
2- Touch, create an account and add your Visa card number.
You are all set.
How to use Uber:
Now that you have the app, created an account and added your payment details, it’s time to take your first ride.
1- Open Uber app.
2- Touch where and type your destination (Make sure it is the right destination, destinations can be confusing, for instance, if you just type 26th street Telegraph, it will give you at least three options in San Francisco, Oakland and Berkeley you need to choose the right one.The same applies for your current location from which you’ll be picked up.
3- Once you have selected your destination, Uber will show you three or more prices for the same trip:
A) Uber express, cheapest option, it’s a shared ride with other people, in most times you will have to walk to a destination to meet your driver (usually a couple of blocks) and you’ll be dropped a couple of blocks from your destination too.
B) Uber pool, less cheap compared to Uber express, it’s also a shared ride but the driver will come to your location.
C) Uber XL, it’s more expensive as it’s not a shared drive.
Once you select your best option you can add more riders in case you are not alone and confirm ride.
You will get a notification on when your driver will arrive and where to meet with them depending on the price option.
