Washington D.C. the city so much advertised in social media, in the international media, in movies, televisions and by people around the world, but how did I feel like a nearly arrived from a developing country such as Albania?
But where is Albania for everyone who does not know:
Albania is a land to be loved. In this small mediterranean country, virgin nature and cultural mysteries combine to create a unique sense of place. In Albania, visitors are welcomed as guests as part of the country’s rich cultural traditioins and heritage. The warm hospitality of the Albanian will make every one feel at home in this small wonderful land.
First I am Albanian, I have born in Albania and I feel as I am an Albanian citizen but notwithstanding I feel I am not only a citizen of the state but I am a citizen of the world.
Washington gave me the first impression as a cold and quite city, but the people who accompanied me from Atlas Corps fulfilled this coldness, makes my heart warmer enough to start the new life here.
I left everything back, I left my country, my family, my 5years old nephew, my job in the Ministry of Finance, my friends, my car, my bicycle and more and more lovies and desires for one greate vision, to empower my personal and professional skills in oder to apply these skills, to share them, to change the future and to improve dhe social life in my country, Albania.
This is the beginning of a new chapter, of a new life, of a guaranteed future in peace!
I will keep you updated in the proceed days, notwithstanding this is my 3-rd day.
