I met Rehana Adeeb when I was traveling for my documentary on Women Rights and religion across India. I was fortunate enough to meet an exceptional individual and activist like her. I shot and edited this video to highlight the important work Rehana is doing to address violence against women in rural India. She herself has been a survivor of child marriage, rape, and domestic violence. Rehana Adeeb, along with her development organization ASTITVA is fighting against Violence against Women and working for the women in distress in Muzaffarnagar since 2005.
