Since a decade or so, I have had a large encounter with vibrant social change leading organizations and am still just as overly excited when I come to know new ones. I have been ever since trying to dissect the social innovation anatomy and how some unique social change leaders seem to effortlessly thrive on achieving change at a transformative scale —and trying to emulate them.

As I hadn’t really envisioned being an international development professional. I found this path because I had a background in finance, a restless passion for reinventing ways we deliver social impact and was just open to possibilities. I was so supported by like-minded social change colleagues and friends that were just like me not afraid to take risks and make mistakes in such a compassionate manner that propel them forward.

And just in a serendipity concourse of events, I came to know the awe-inspiring Affinis Labs. A leading organization in Social Innovation —innovation whose ultimate objective is achieving social change and that is gaining momentum worldwide.

Affinis Labs is an organization that fuses the worlds of technology and innovation with delivering social impact that inspire fresh thinking and spark conversations.

Affinis Labs first gained notoriety for winning the Global Islamic Economy Award, and its work has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, CNN, BBC, Newsweek, Fast Company, The Huffington Post, and others. It has since been commissioned to organize Hackathons by the world legendary Hackathon organizations: Facebook,  Google, 500 Startups. But also commissioned to creatively tackle complex global challenges through entrepreneurship, innovation, and technology for the United Nations, the U.S. and U.K. governments to name a few.
