Fundación Colombianitos Seeks Atlas Corps Fellow from the United States![]() About Colombianitos Colombianitos (www.colombianitos.org) is a Colombian nonprofit that helps Colombian children victims of the violence and extreme poverty, through integrated educational, rehabilitation and recreation programs. Colombianitos’ educational program, “Goles para una vida mejor” (goals for a better life), reduces el crime and drug addicion, promoting education by practicing soccer, playing music and specialized training, among other activities. It is a community-based program that is currently providing hope to nearly 3,750 vulnerable and at risk children at a national level, living in Bogots, Puerto Tejada, Cartagena, Sincelejo, Barbosa and Medellín. Corporate Project Assistant-Role Description: Colombianitos is seeking a highly motivated, dynamic, resourceful and experienced nonprofit professional from the United States to join the organization’s team as the Colombianitos-Atlas Corps Fellow / Corporate Project Assistant. Candidates must have 3-8 years of relevant nonprofit experience, at least a bachelor’s degree, and speak and write Spanish with near fluency. Colombianitos is a dynamic organization in the midst of dramatic growth, driven by its Colombia management team, in partnership with the organization’s board. The Colombian office fundraising operations have become more sophisticated each year and have grown to incorporate expertise in communications (Web page, press releases, brochures etc), individual giving (plan padrino/sponsorship plan), and major donor work (corporations and grants). The Colombianitos-Atlas Corps Fellow will participate in a number of new initiatives, particularly in fundraising efforts and strategies. We also expect the Fellow will participate in Colombianitos’ communications strategies, helping identify new and sophisticated avenues of donor communications, and assisting with event planning and coordination.
