FSC (www.saldarriagaconcha.org/) is a nonprofit organization that seeks to foster a more fair and caring social development in Colombia, by promoting the practice of values that favor and facilitate a healthy and peaceful coexistence, by providing health and education opportunities to specific population groups, by means of integral rehabilitation. FSC’s mission is to support financially, technically and managerially other nonprofits devoted to social adaptation, integral formation rehabilitation for the disabled and elderly wellness, in order to contribute to the strengthening of the rehabilitation sector.

Social Project Formulation and Evaluation Specialist- Role Description:
FSC is seeking a highly motivated, dynamic, resourceful and experienced nonprofit professional from the United States to join theorganization’s team as the FSC-Atlas Corps Fellow / Social Project Formulation and Evaluation Specialist. Candidates must have 3-8 years of relevant nonprofit experience, at least a bachelor’s degree, and speak and write Spanish with near fluency. A master’s or post graduate degree in evaluation or project management is strongly encouraged for this position.

The Social Project Formulation and Evaluation Specialist core mission will be to:
  • support follow-up and evaluations efforts of FSC projects and programs
  • support the FSC efforts in formulating project proposals for different international cooperation and development entities
Responsibilities:
  • Revise and present proposals on management, results and impact evaluation models/schemes/types to assess the Foundation’s implemented projects
  • Advice and support of the design of project evaluation tools
  • Accompany FSC technical team in the execution of all the required actions for project and program evaluation
  • Analyze the evaluation results and suggest improvements in the methodology and applied tools
  • Advise and support the Executive Director in formulating project proposals and reports for different international cooperation and development entities
Qualifications:

Academic Background:
  • Master’s or equivalent graduate studies on project evaluation (strongly encouraged) Knowledge and Experience:
  • Familiar with conceptual framework, methods and formulation techniques for Project formulation and evaluation
  • Experience designing and implementing evaluation systems for social investment projects at a local, regional and national level
Working experience:
  • Over 3 years on evaluation related activities and relevant nonprofit sector experience
