InterNations – Atlas Corps Partnership |

Atlas Corps is pleased to announce a partnership with a new social network site designed for diplomats, expats and international volunteers.
InterNations is the first international online Social Network exclusively for people living and working abroad. As a network of trust, InterNations is a place where its members can interact with other internationally-minded individuals sharing the same situation abroad, similar interests, and needs. InterNations appeals to the international community where they live: diplomats, members of international organizations (such as Atlas Corps), foreign correspondents, and expatriates of international companies as well as their accompanying family members. Moreover, InterNations also addresses local people who have strong connections to the international community (government representatives, journalists).
The community of InterNations has global reach with local grounding. Relevant to Atlas Corps, InterNations has a growing community of international individuals in Washington, DC, Bogota, Colombia and New Delhi. InterNations has concentrations of members in 200 communities around the world, so Atlas Corps intends to grow with InterNations.
Membership within the network of InterNations is invitation-based only: in order to retain the quality of helpfulness, trust, and confidence within the community new members may join the network only when being invited by a current member. That way InterNations remains a trust-based network and interaction platform of like-minded individuals.

InterNations aims to be the leading platform for exchange between internationally-minded and acting individuals. Building upon a strong and open-minded international community, InterNations is committed to engage charitably and support cross-cultural understanding beyond the scope of its online community. To do so, InterNations and its members take specific actions together with Atlas Corps and AFS Intercultural Programs to support individuals from the global south to gain access to international education and experience.
